1) Is dry needling painful?
This is not a painful feeling.

If the needle touches the trigger point, it does give a short pain sensation.
Some patients describe it as a small electric shock, others describe it as
a kind of cramp or dull feeling.

2) What is a trigger point?
Trigger points are hardenings in the muscle that are painful when pressed.
They feel like a knot, from this knot strands or ligaments can develop in the
muscle that feels hard.

3) Is dry needling quackery?
