Volkswagen R has appointed Sara Sigmundsdottir as its Brand Ambassador

Volkswagen R has appointed World-class athlete Sara Sigmundsdottir as its new brand ambassador. Sara will be representing Volkswagen’s sporty brand across the world. The Icelandic CrossFit star is an embodiment of Volkswagen’s values like performance and versatile abilities.

Sara is one of the world’s most successful female CrossFit athletes, she has won the CrossFit Open, the second most important competition in this sport, in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020.

Speaking about the association, MD, Volkswagen R, Jost Capito said “As an athlete who challenges herself in a range of disciplines and strives for perfection, Sara Sigmundsdottir is an ideal brand ambassador. Her ambition and her incredible athletic performance reflect the essence of the Volkswagen R.”
