North India has started facing intense winters, at least the season is clear in other parts of the country, but in Maharashtra, no stable season seems to come. Yeah, it’s very much about the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government that came into existence because of the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance. Amidst all the twists and turns, Thackeray reportedly was sworn in as the chief minister of Maharashtra on Thursday.

But according to the latest news, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government is going to face a floor test in the Assembly on Saturday, that’s tomorrow. Besides Thackeray, six other ministers — two each from the NCP, Shiv Sena and the Congress also took oath. And former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will allegedly be declared the leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly.

NCP leader Dilip Walse Patil, whose name was recommended by Uddhav Thackeray himself to the governor, will be the pro-tem speaker in the Assembly. Ambegaon MLA Patil, who is serving his seventh term as legislator has replaced the BJP’s Kalidas Kolambkar. Kolambkar is the one, who was appointed as pro-tem Speaker by BJP earlier when the MLAs were administered oath.

Governor BS Koshyari has allegedly asked Thackeray to prove his majority by December 3. As, the Thackeray alliance has claimed the majority with a total of 170 seats out of 288 in a House.

Already, the Maha Vikas Aghadi had submitted support letters of 162 MLAs and claimed that they will form the Govt. with 170 seats and over.
