HELLO RICHARD LYNCH, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JOINING US! WHAT DREW YOU TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?
My Dad was a terrific country singer, entertainer and country music was a large part of our daily upbringing in our household.

WHO ARE YOU INSPIRED BY?
My country music heroes such as Conway Twitty, Gary Stewart, Keith Whitley, and George Strait.

PLEASE EXPLAIN YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS
I try to put truth in my songs

WHAT’S AN AVERAGE DAY LIKE FOR YOU?
I have animals and other chores on the farm to take care of daily, then I may have a barn to restore in the area, or hay to bale; if I get an inspiration I will write a country song I can get recorded.  Just a very busy country kind of life.

IS THERE A HIDDEN MEANING IN ANY OF YOUR MUSIC?
No, I am a straight shooter and my music tells a story that everyone can follow.

DO YOU COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS? WHAT IS THAT PROCESS?
I collaborate with others, generally when someone may have a song or a good line that can inspire a good song, we put our efforts together to put it on paper and to music.

PLEASE DISCUSS HOW YOU INTERACT WITH AND RESPOND TO FANS. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT THIS LINE OF WORK? YOUR LEAST FAVORITE? WHY?
I am always appreciative to see fans and friends at my events, and I always look forward to greeting them, shaking their hand and telling them how much I appreciate them. My favorite part is to be on stage and know the fans are completely enjoying the music.   Tearing down equipment is the least favorite.

HAVE YOU EVER DEALT WITH PERFORMANCE ANXIETY?
I don’t think so

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE PERFORMANCE VENUES
I used to love to play the local honky-tonks; they just don’t exist anymore. Now, it would be our barn on our farm, where we put on some fantastic shows with national and local acts.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU HAVE FOR SOMEONE WANTING TO FOLLOW IN YOUR FOOTSTEPS?
Surround yourself with people who support you fully and have your best interest in mind.
