My family inspires & motivates me, I do it for them.. Also I do it for all the little girls who grew up in poverty like myself & I want them to understand if you can think it you can achieve it!

WHAT MADE YOU START YOUR SPICES & COOKWARE LINE?
I was honestly inspired by the lack of products in the industry that are available at Affordable prices & great quality..I really enjoy cooking I come from a cooking family and I know a lot about pots & pans so it was really easy to identify what I wanted to cook with and enjoyed making..I also was inspired by a black man you know georgeforeman it Made me go hard ..I was young when he was out but my mom had a lot of his appliances!.. My spices are easy I knew what my taste buds needed so that was a no brainer!

Laughs Yes it was extremely hard putting together but I ended up making it happen I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my cooking in bring joy around the world to everyone’s household, MARRIAGES WILL BE MADE AND SAVED LOL

DID YOU HAVE A CLEAR PATH MAPPED OUT AS YOU WERE STRIVING TO REACH SPECIFIC GOALS IN YOUR LIFE?
It’s funny because I had a clear path mapped out to become a entertainer, this mega star of some sort, I knew exactly who and what I wanted to be. Then, I had my SON and began feeling insecure about my weight and appearance. I decided to change the way I looked and began waist training. I felt good and looked better so I decided to pay it forward and help other women achieve the same results, in doing so Waist Gang was born. I totally shifted my focus into my new found love and decided to put everything on hold. It turns out that it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve recently had a daughter 11 months ago so I’m back serious than ever

WHAT WAS THE PROCESS BEHIND RE-INVENTING A PRODUCT THAT’S BEEN AROUND FOR GENERATIONS?
I think that all women want to look good. Most of us want to look good and not have to work too hard to achieve that. Corsets were common but painful and that is why women stopped using them and the whole waist training concept became sort of taboo. My idea was to take something that was looked at as uncomfortable and painful by society and make it fashionable and comfortable while still getting the same results. We have an assortment of items ranging from reshape wear to nutritional supplements we have all colors and prints that make waist training fun and fashionable. Don’t hide it, flaunt it!

HOW DID YOU HANDLE THE NEGATIVE ASPECTS THAT CAME WITH YOUR RISING SUCCESS AND NOTORIETY?
As with all negativity in life, I smiled. You have to take the good with the bad no matter what. I knew the odds were stacked against me but I never wavered. My goal was and still is to empower women of all sizes and to promote self-love. To whom much is given much is required. I’m a very spiritual person and a firm believer that God doesn’t give you more than you can handle.
