Who is Kevin Salazar? Well, First I’m just a humble kid from Los Angeles. I moved from the big city to the state of Texas when I was about 7 I love music it’s kind of my lifeline I grew up listening to many genres of music uhm I’ve always been an old soul or at least that’s what people tell me growing up I didn’t really have a lot of things so i love giving back to the less fortunate it makes my heart flutter making peoples day easier I was kind of like a lone wolf so I can relate to people that don’t have much friends just know I was in the same boat.
WHEN DID YOU FIRST REALIZE THAT YOU WANT TO WORK IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY?
Well, it all started with TikTok/musically I would post on there when I was bored and noticed people were commenting things like “made my day” or “this makes me happy” so from then on I decided I was going to use my platform on social media/ entertainment to provide positive and uplifting vibes through my TikTok videos and through my music sort of like a positive role model for our generation
HOW IMPORTANT IS DEVELOPING A PERSONAL STYLE WHEN IT COMES TO ACTING?
I feel like developing your personal style is very important it gives people a chance to see new walks of life and directions they might go in and emulate so it’s always important to push a positive agenda you don’t know who’s watching.
DESCRIBE YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS?
So when I create content via social media my first question is how can this piece of art help someone or how can it affect them in a positive manner once that part is out of the way the creative juices just begin to flow.
WHO ARE YOUR BIGGEST INFLUENCES?
Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jackson and Will Smith; they gave so much of their free time and fortunes to good causes and stood up for what’s right in the world, and I would love to carry the torch into the next generation.
WHAT’S SOMETHING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE US?
I love to draw most people don’t know that it’s a hobby I like to indulge in when I’m not on social media it really gives me a chance to bring out that creativeness on paper
ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS YOU CAN TALK ABOUT?
Well, I just released a song called “ready to go” it’s about a guy that pretty much writes a song about waiting on his girlfriend while she’s getting ready for their date that their already late for so he pretty much just spends his time twiddling his thumbs and waiting ever so patiently for his GF to finish getting ready.
I’m also going on tour from July 10 thru Aug 25th to over 20 major cities.
