His latest bombshell single features Hip Hop influenced production complimented by soothing vocals and candid songwriting. Take a moment to get to know the rising star by tuning into his latest interview that we did with man himself below:

What’s up Max! How are you?
Doing well! Excited for this interview, thank you for asking.

How did you come by your stage name?
I’ve actually gone through a few names, but I decided to go with Max Venus. I came up with it by using my astrology profile. I’m a Libra & my ruling planet is Venus, one of the hottest planets in the solar system. I did some research & found there is a mountain range on Venus called ‘Maxwell’ & that’s when everything came together.

If you could change one thing about the music industry, what would it be?
One thing I would change is the accessibility to tools & resources for underground artists. I’ve heard & worked with some dope upcoming artists who just don’t have the tools to get their music heard to a broader audience.

What goals do you see yourself achieving in the next 5 to 10 years?
Some goals I have would be performing at big-name venues like Red Rocks, Bellco Theatre, etc. I would also love to see my music on the Billboard charts.

What thing or person motivates you the most to wake up every morning and go hard at pursuing your dream of becoming a musician?
My son Kingston. He’s the reason why I do everything from music to providing for him. That little guy is my entire world & I would love to give him a life I never had.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music that you would want to pursue once you’ve established the tools and resources needed from your music career?
One day I would love to open up my own fashion line of clothes, shoes etc.

What strengths do you have that you believe make you a standout from other musicians?
Some strengths I have that separate me from other artists is my work ethic & the constant goal to be a better artist & person every single day.

What’s your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician?
My favorite part of being a musician is when people tell my music has changed their life. At the end of the day that’s why I make music, to be the voice for people who may relate to my experiences & feelings but can’t express them the way I do. My least favorite part is being a perfectionist. I have a habit of spending too long trying to make a beat, mix or song perfect.

What’s your creative process usually like when you’re working on new music?
It depends on how I’m feeling honestly. I don’t like to force creativity, so I’ll usually listen to beats I’ve made & just freestyle about whatever I’m feeling at the time. Other days I know exactly what type of songs I want to make.

What has been the most fulfilling moment of your career so far that people may not know?
The most fulfilling moment I’ve had comes from people recognizing my hard work & dedication when they listen to my music & telling me to never give up on my dreams.

Would you agree that it is important to learn, study, and understand the history of musicians who have done it before you as you navigate the industry as a newer artist?
I definitely feel as an artist, you have to study & learn from the greats & the people succeeding more than you are at the moment. That’s the only way to evolve & improve.

What music advice would you give your younger self?
I would tell my younger self to trust the process & always stay true to your art, no matter how many critics or non-believers there are.

What is the best advice you’ve been given about the music industry?
The best advice I received is to remember that it’s more than just making music. This industry is a business & your brand is what you’re trying to sell to an audience.

What is one message you would give to your fans?
For all my fans I want to just say thank you for sticking with me this long & being here with me at the bottom before we reach the top. There will be a day when I’m able to give back to my supporters.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?
I would describe it as out of this world. An unorthodox sound you’ve never heard before. I always try to keep it real with the pen.

Where can people connect & stay up to date with you on social?
