Absa roped in M.anifest as its brand ambassador

Barclays Bank Ghana has allegedly revealed the name of its new brand ambassador and it is none other than, the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Hip-Hop artiste, M.anifest.

And the bank is set to rebrand itself to Absa Bank Ghana Limited on Monday 10 February 2020.

M.anifest, who was described as “the foremost rapper on the continent” in 2015 by the Guardian (UK), is famously known for his musical boundary-crossing, multilingual wordplay, and a refreshing hybrid songwriting approach that concedes both his Ghanaian upbringing and his sojourns in the West.

Due to his originality and impressive lyricism he has been able to collaborate with musical giants such as Burna Boy, Tony Allen, Damon Albarn, Flea (Red hot Chili Peppers), Femi Kuti, Erykah Badu, A.B Crentsil and many more.

Speaking about the association, Marketing and Corporate Relations Director at Barclays Bank Ghana, Ms Nana Essilfuah Boison said, “as a forward-looking bank deeply rooted in Africa with global connectivity and a passion for excellence, we are excited to be associated with M.anifest, who exhibits and exudes similar characteristics and passion.”
