Hello guys! It’s an honor to stand here today to introduce myself – “Taha Youssef is really an excitable influencer & Moroccan model who is authentic and down to earth. He knows French, English, and German. Youssef always has adored physicals sports; he has played for his city in which he lived.”

WHY DON’T YOU GIVE US SOME DETAILS ABOUT YOU AND YOUR STORY? HOW DID YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY?
I had an Instagram account like everybody else in my age group, and I was sharing pictures from my daily life pictures from my country. Pictures of me wearing clothes, I like wearing stylish and unusual combinations… And then I started to get some traction that had accumulated to over 180,000 followers on Instagram! And that’s when I realized I was up to something. Shortly after that, I was getting noticed by agents from around the world; that’s when I knew I should really pursue this path.

I’M SURE YOUR SUCCESS HAS NOT COME EASILY. WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU HAD TO OVERCOME ALONG THE WAY?
First of all, challenges and failures are chances to learn; that’s why I always try to think of them in a positive way. Coming from a conservative society, Moroccans regard male modeling as a strange and odd occupation. So, only a few models from my country and me are trying to normalize this line of work to push the barriers so they can be on par with those of western societies.

HOW IMPORTANT IS PERSONAL BRANDING IN YOUR PROFESSION?
Personally, I am my own brand. I think it’s leading to have your own integrity and character. And as a brand, I can manifest these values and show them to the world. Besides, personal branding helps you to be uncommon and recognized by the industry, especially in the modeling and acting industry; this is really important to stand out. 

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE WORK YOU DO. WHAT DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN, AND WHY SHOULD SOMEONE WORK WITH YOU OVER THE COMPETITION?
I try to stay away from mainstream modeling where companies sign models to advertise some new line, and with this comes some checklist of requirements that those models need to comply with. I try to avoid these kinds of restrictions and try to be creative and different, unlike other models from the west. I am from the other side of the world; my country is a rich blend of African, Arab, and Mediterranean heritage. I want to show the world the diversity & culture we have to offer.

SPEAKING OF SUCCESS, WHAT DOES THE WORD MEAN TO YOU?
Success is something that is fundamental to human existence. Something that informs your decisions of everyone in his room, and it’s also something that most of us, including myself, fail to understand Success isn’t money, Success isn’t fame, Success isn’t building a big business; it’s how I feel about myself when no one else is around. When the only thing I have is the quiet voice in my head, how do I feel about myself? If you feel good about who you are and great about who you are becoming and if you have a deep sense of fulfilment, THAT TO ME IS SUCCESS.

If what you are creating is only serving yourself, it would be so empty and unfulfilling; true Success means you are supporting others in their journey. Devote yourself to serving others and see how fulfilled you will become. For me, “Success” is an open concept, and it may be different for everyone and Success it can happen over and over because there are different things in different areas of our lives where we want to reach. It’s simply a choice. A mind-frame that we put ourselves in when we wanna save our families.

ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS YOU CAN TALK ABOUT?
I just recently worked on a movie called Mejdoub; it should be coming out nationwide later this year! I’ve also recently decided to create my launch my line and promote it in the industry’s highest standards; I’m working as well on a series of partnerships throughout the fashion industry from both Europe and America.

And my biggest upcoming project is the launch of my YouTube channel, so stay tuned!

FINALLY, WHAT’S YOUR BEST PIECE OF ADVICE FOR READERS WHO DESIRE TO FIND SUCCESS IN THEIR LIFE?
As an artist & models you should be unique, original, and most importantly never forget to invest in yourself to be your own boss. Here’s my seven main Advice:
1. Push yourself
2. Do what you love
3. Follow your dreams
4. Empower people
5. Be an optimist
6. Take risks
7. Think about what is next.
