Through her “Survivor Strong” podcast, sexual abuse, incest, domestic abuse, and trauma survivor Yvonne Sandomir is out here changing lives, one podcast, one story at a time

I have always acknowledged those willing to share their past traumatic experiences with others, either as a healing process for themselves or as an altruistic way to connect with others battling similar storms and enable them to feel less alone in a world that more often than not has been branded as unfair and evil. The willingness, courage, and strength to relieve those horrifying experiences is the rarest ingredient…such is the case with our heroine today, Yvonne Sandomir.

A beautiful and flawless woman, she has lived through more disasters than a person has any right to. And yet you cannot tell the pain she has carried all those years by looking at her disarming smile, her round, beautiful face, or the feminine energy she exudes.

It wasn’t always like this—she discloses that for so many years she lived in anger, denial, and frustration over her past traumatic experiences, including sexual abuse, incest, parental domestic abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction, and a borderline dysfunctional family.

It was only when she decided to open up about her past tumultuous experiences that she truly began the healing process. There has always been a certain indescribable therapeutic success in sharing, and that is why she started her “Survivor Strong” podcast: to reach out to people who have been through similar kinds of experiences as her, or even worse!

The world can be a cruel place to live in, especially for innocent children who are the most vulnerable and susceptible to all manner of abuse and atrocities, and sometimes with no one to run to because those who are abusing them are the ones supposed to be protecting them from predators.

Yvonne Sandomir uses her voice and platform to spread awareness of childhood trauma, especially sexual abuse and domestic violence, with invited guests sharing their stories for the first time.

This is a platform where survivors boldly and unabashedly share their past traumatic experiences in order to provide solace to others like them affected by similar hurtful experiences.
