The Loud House brings the town of Royal Woods to life for the holidays and follows Lincoln Loud as he gears up for the ultimate Christmas, until he finds out that most of his sisters have plans to be elsewhere for the big day. Determined to remind his family that they all need to be together, Lincoln and his best friend Clyde Mcbride embark on a mission to preserve the family’s holiday traditions.
WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER IN THE FILM, AND WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THIS CHARACTER?
Ella played Lola and Mia played Lana. We both really liked them and related to them in some way.
Ella – Lola- I love her wardrobe and fashion that she sees herself as a princess regardless of how she comes across. I love how she is larger than life with a big and bold personality. I actually think it’s hilarious when she switches from sweet to psychotic. She marches to the beat of her own drum….and you better like the beat she’s playing or she’ll make you regret it!
Mia – I really liked playing Lana. I loved that her pet was a frog named Hops and I got to have a scene with him. I also love that Lana is a no-nonsense person. She’s not really embarrassed to be who she is-a get down and dirty, make it happen kind of person. I would really love to get in that character more by fixing the plumbing or building something. She’s mischievous in her own way but I think she’s more intentional.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO WORK WITH NICKELODEON?
We really love it! It is iconic! Nickelodeon has reached a wide audience by catering to all ages and walks of life while still championing young actors to display and grow in their craft. They are extremely supportive and inclusive. It feels nice to be recognized and celebrated by such a monumental company like Nickelodeon. They don’t shy away from publicizing their kids on social media or to give opportunities to be seen and heard.
IF YOU COULD PLAY ANY OTHER CHARACTER IN THIS MOVIE, WHO WOULD IT BE?
Ella – Leni: Because I really love her fashion, she is always positive and sees life like a playground. She has a genuine concern and will step in to help in any way she can.
Mia – Lucy: First off it would be a really fun transformation. Her dark sense of humor is hilarious to me, even though she is pretty quiet she makes her presence known.
WHAT’S GOING TO SURPRISE PEOPLE ABOUT THIS MOVIE?
We think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised with how this show is going to come to life and how true these talented group of actors are to the Characters in the cartoon they know and love.
