Texas-Based Recording Artist Dorasel Is All Set To Release “NO LOVE” On February 25
Nothing can stop you from achieving your goals if you’re motivated, as Dorasel has demonstrated with his commitment to making it big even after suffering through the worst times. Dorasel plans to release his upcoming banger “NO LOVE” on February 25 on his own label, HIcDIEM. “NO LOVE” is not Valentine’s Day song in the traditional sense; rather, it is a song about what happens after Valentine’s Day, which most people neglect. Slim Thug and the recently deceased D-Bando are featured on “NO LOVE,” which was produced by legendary Beanz N Kornbread. The track was recorded at Hoover Studios in Houston, Texas, and was arranged and engineered by James Hoover, who is most known for his work with Rick Ross, Destiny’s Child, Scarface, Lionel Richie, Baby Bash, and Chamillionaire. “NO LOVE” was inspired by the story of Dorasel’s ex-wife, whom he trusted and for whom he sacrificed his own career to help her advance, abandoned him in the midst of nowhere.
Eric Vaughn, known as Dorasel, started his musical journey in prison. Through his first manager, Kenneth’ Snag’ Forker, Dorasel caught the attention of J. Prince, who immediately signed him to his Houston-based Rap-A-Lot Records in 1998, just two weeks after his release. Signing with J. Prince’s label was a life-changing event for Dorasel. Even though he served a lengthy prison sentence, lost a record deal, faced mental health issues, had a failed marriage, and had minimal family support, he managed to acquire a bachelor’s degree while piecing together a massive collection of new compositions. Fake love, true hate, misery, and passion are all strong influences in his work. His late father instilled in him the ability to stay motivated by never failing to thrill and support him, no matter what obstacles he faced. Aside from making soulful music, Dorasel enjoys delivering free private tutoring to struggling middle and high school students in Houston’s 5th ward. Dorasel is a rare individual who has learned not only to be strong in the face of adversity but also to be humble as a result of his life’s experiences.
Stay Tuned! On February 25, “NO LOVE” will be available on all major streaming platforms. For more information about Dorasel’s next projects, visit his Instagram account.
