Tarah Who? Share Their Newest Rock Single, “Illusion of Freedom.

The magnificent duo, Tarah Who? share their newest rock single, “Illusion of Freedom,” following their previous track Manner’s success. The track focuses on the invisible boundaries that divide us as humans and cultures. “Illusion of Freedom” was written for and from the immigrant standpoint. Through this track, Tarah Carpenter reflected on her own experiences and encounters living as an immigrant in a foreign country.

Speaking about her experiences, Carpenter said, “there was a time where my co-workers were too afraid to come to work, too afraid that they would be taken and sent back home or separated from their families, even if they had been living here for over twenty years.”

Also, “Illusion of Freedom” reflects upon the situations and problems faced by refugees. People who flee their country to stay safe are not welcomed anywhere. The situation becomes scary for all, the ones who flee and the ones to them they arrive. Tarah Who? superbly explains their struggles and fears in this musical composition.

Tarah Who? believes that the time has come when people should treat each other equally and live in freedom. The duo hopes to make a change through their music and storytelling of past experiences.
