The Flagship show of Power Sportz “Talking Turkey with Kanthi” is back on air! The show is helmed by Ms Kanthi D Suresh, who is the wife of a senior IAS officer in Chandigarh and is also the niece of former chief minister of Tamilnadu, Smt Jayalalitha.
Talking Turkey with Kanthi is on its way to a century as the show has successfully completed its 70 episodes. It is a great mark for a show like this, which is set to bring the crude reality of the sports world to its viewers. All shows see action and reaction on the ground, and the same happened with Talking Turkey with Kanthi as well, when after the last show, in which Match fixing in cricket and domestic football was disclosed, after which Pan India Bookies were arrested, Power Sportz office was under surveillance, and the NEXT episode of “Talking Turkey with Kanthi” did not go on air.
Amidst all the rumours that she was threatened, that she was unwell, etc. off late she was spotted inaugurating Gymkhana club in Chandigarh. However, we couldn’t figure out the truth behind the NO SHOW of Talking Turkey with Kanthi last week.
But, all these things do not seem to deter people like Ms Kanthi D Suresh, who is allegiant to her work and responsibilities towards the society. As, the latest news says that the show is back on air, again with the same bang! Ms Kanthi D Suresh seems as unfazed as ever, in fact it seems she is back with more vigor this time, as if waiting to expose more issues! Steely anchors like Kanthi should be handled with more prudence I suppose!
What we hear is that next show on Fri 8 pm is talking about more ‘MIschief’ in sport!!
