Ryan Lutness – Up and Coming American Basketball Prodigy

Ryan Lutness is an up and coming American basketball player who attends Garnet Valley Middle School in Pennsylvania. He is one of the top players of the class of 2025. Ryan Lutness is sure to make waves in his coming high school years. We had the pleasure to speak with this young athlete.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT D1?
I think it’s a cool idea and would be fun to experience D1 ball if I’m given the chance.

HOW TALL ARE YOU?
Currently I am 5’6 and hoping to keep growing.

HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I am 13 years old and then 14 this October.

CAN YOU DUNK?
Sadly, no it’s always been a dream of mine that I will continue to work towards.

WHAT’S YOUR VERTICAL LEAP?
My vertical stands at 28 inches currently.

WHY DO YOU PLAY BASKETBALL?
Over the past year I lost sight of where I was headed, so I put myself down a new path by playing basketball. I want to inspire kids to make the right decisions in life like I do and I want to inspire them to work hard at their dream.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE PLAYER?
My favorite player is Mikey Williams or Michael Jordan. I like these players because they have good values and inspired me to keep playing.

WHAT HIGH SCHOOL WILL YOU ATTEND?
I want to keep going to Garnet Valley and win a state championship in high school.
