I think Rudy Touzet is a little kid at heart from Miami, FL who is making the music he always dreamed of making!
HOW DID YOU FIRST BECOME INTERESTED IN MUSIC?
Music has always been a huge part of my life. I was always so excited to sing whenever my elementary would have us do a Christmas show or spring fling. I was writing songs at a young age and I did a lot of musical theater growing up as a way to sing in front of people!
TELL US ABOUT “SAY LESS” AND WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO WRITE IT.
Say Less is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made! I honestly was falling for someone so fast and when that happens, I am someone who likes to be very spontaneous. So when writing Say Less, I was just thinking of this spontaneous feeling where you can just leave all your problems aside and just do something crazy like going on a trip with the person you’re crushing on! Everything else can wait in those moments and then we just started saying “move fast, say less”
YOU HAVE AN EP, “WHERE IT ALL STARTED,” COMING OUT LATER THIS YEAR. TELL US ABOUT YOUR EP AND THE INSPIRATION BEHIND IT.
MY FIRST EP is finally out!!! The inspiration for this entire project was really about me growing up and figuring out how to love and the outcomes of loving someone! I wanted these songs to tell this journey of my life over the past 3 years while also making people dance their hearts out when they listen.
WHAT TRACK ON THE EP DO YOU FEEL BEST REPRESENTS WHO YOU ARE AS AN ARTIST, AND WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT PARTICULAR TRACK?
I definitely think “Where Do I Go Now?” is the song that best represents who I am as an artist. It was the last song we finished for the EP and I think it brings my whole story together. The lyrics were very meaningful to me when I wrote this, and the beat behind my vocals makes me feel like the artist I want to be.
WHAT’S SOMETHING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE US?
I never know what to say with these kinds of questions! I try to think of something weird about me to say but it always ends up being something boring haha. But my answer would be that my go-to karaoke song is “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS OR COLLABORATIONS YOU CAN TALK ABOUT?
There may or may not be a music video in the works as well as some upcoming performances! But I can definitely say that there will be more music coming in the next few months!!!!

HI!! I’m so happy you can finally hear the EP and really hear the whole story! I kept going back and forth with releasing this project and decided last minute to write 4 new songs for it HAHA but do not worry more is on the way <3
