My name is Kevin Walker and I go by the name “Ktborderline” . I am a hip-hop artists that raps about The things we experience in today’s world from police brutality, racism, Also I like to have fun with it as well.

WHEN DID YOU FIRST BEGIN TO CREATE MUSIC?
I’ve been writing music since I was in the sixth grade but I got real serious about it when I graduated high school back in 2004.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSICAL STYLE?
My style is pretty much like a Jay Z , Meek Mill , Drake somebody that’s a conscience Rapper.

HAS YOUR STYLE CHANGED MUCH OVER THE YEARS?
Yes because I used to be a commercial rapper my first single was a song called “fresh in the club “ And it’s pretty much a party song it has over 2 million views on YouTube. But now I am rapping about things that’s more serious.

TELL US BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW SONG?
My new single that I have out now is called “Amerikkk “ And the song talks about police brutality Also it reference Colin Kaepernick , Trayvon Martin The song pretty much talks about how it’s two sides of America.

WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR ARTISTIC INSPIRATION?
Pretty much all types of artists but I would have to say Michael Jackson.

WHAT PEOPLE HAVE INFLUENCED YOUR CAREER?
Michael Jackson, Jay Z, Eminem, Jada Kiss, Tupac & Biggie.

Nothing pretty much happened that’s crazy while I was performing.

WHAT’S YOUR PROCESS LIKE FOR MAKING MUSIC?
I usually ride around in my car playing Beats and when I come up with a great idea I just write it in my notes on my iPhone.
