TELL US SOME FACTS ABOUT YOURSELF?
I am the first youngest teen in Tulsa to be signed to an major label, Bentley Records Co-Owned by Warner Music Founded By Luca Dayz. I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma I have accumulated over 100K Streams over all Platforms Without an album being released in just over a little over 2 years. Also am the youngest nominated rapper for Tulsa Music Awards 2019 & 2020 for every category i was nominated for at just the age of 15 & 16 at the time I am known for my viral hit songs “Fiji” that was released in Mid 2018 and “Dragon Ball Z” that was released Mid 2019 and went viral on Tiktok despite me not promoting it on their, it current amasses over 200 Tiktok videos. Lastly, I am known for my strong work ethic.
HOW AND WHEN EXACTLY DID YOU REALIZE YOU HAD THE PASSION FOR RAPPING?
Growing up I never knew what I wanted to be when adults asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, because I really didn’t know. But as I got older I’ve been influenced by rappers such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Tupac to actually be persuaded by them it made me want to pursue a rapping career at the age of 14. This is just what I love to do..it’s really like therapy to me.
WHO INSPIRED YOU TO MAKE MUSIC?
Mainly Tupac but if I had to add on…drake, Kendrick, like new wave rappers that’s been making it in the rap scene.
WHAT IS YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS LIKE?
When it comes to the writing process it’s the best part for me, I love it! So…I always listen to the beat 2-3 times to get a vibe and mood from it and mumble over it..then I’ll always have a few words down to say and then when I get that stuck to my brain within 15-30 minutes I create the hook. and then I’ll create the verse and I always have my verses relating to the hook to make it very simple and quick.
WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO A UPCOMING RAPPER OR SINGER?
DO NOT be afraid to reach out. you need to get yourself on the scene as much as you can. Your the only one who can give yourself the self-exposure and it’s okay to be rejected at times, these people in the industry are not your friends so remember you came to win for you and yourself only. the more work you put the more success outcome you’ll receive.
