Power Sportz Premier League ready with first 50 Cricketers

The  Editor-in-Chief of Power Sportz, Kanthi D Suresh and her team has already shortlisted first 50 players for North Zone Season 1 Championship of Power Sportz Premier League, the league division of Power Sportz, under the ‘Main Bhi Star Banunga’, project.

According to latest reports, in Season 1, Power Sportz Premier League plans to hold 4 championships covering 4 zones in India. After which a final for the winner of PSPL Season 1, will be held for the 2020/21 season

Due to the coronavirus outbreak the dates of PSPL are not yet disclosed by the channel. However, the first championship is said to begin with the North Zone that is to be held in the Delhi/NCR region, and Gurugram is expected to be the venue for the first Championship, as talks for a cricket ground in Gurugram are already on.

The 50 players who have been shortlisted to play Power Sportz Premier League have a playing standard of the Ranji trophy, Vizzy prophy, and U19 World Cup level, which clearly confirms the information that PSPL is beginning with cricket leagues.

According to an insider, the next 50 players for the North Zone championship will be shortlisted within the next 45 days, as Ms. Kanthi has already set a deadline to have 8 confirmed teams for PSPL North Zone, by the end of May. The second PSPL championship will be for the South Zone, and the venue for the same would be Hyderabad; however, there is no confirmed information on the same until now.

Ms. Kanthi is personally involved in the planning of the league business so that no stone is left unturned. According to the news, all the teams will be playing under the Power Sportz banner in the first season. Initially, 32 teams would be playing the championship, and out of 32 teams, the best 8 teams would be selected for the next season.

However, the question is – would we be able to see Pspl before the IPL, especially seeing the present situation. Our attempts to reach Ms Kanthi D Suresh to ask the same, went in vain!
