Hi, thank you! Dre Butterz is a Musician writer-producer and artist from Detroit mi, who’s roots are in church and gospel music and music has been apart of my life since the age of 5.
WHEN DID YOU START MAKING MUSIC?
I starting making music at the age of 5 in my grandmothers living room there was a set of drums see got me for Christmas and the rest was history.
FAVORITE MOMENT FROM YOUR CAREER?
My favorite moment in my career was when I found out that Chris Brown was on one of my tracks and was actually singing the lyrics that I had wrote for the record I couldn’t believe it inspire me and motivate me to keep going until this day I still remember how it felt.
WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST MUSICAL INSPIRATION?
My biggest inspiration is definitely Michael Jackson Stevie Wonder R. Kelly the dream Kanye West Swizz Beatz T-Pain Drake and there’s so many more but just a name a few they have a lot of influence and impact on how I view music today.
WHAT OTHER THINGS DO YOU DO BESIDES MAKING MUSIC?
Other than music I like to study philosophy listen to philosophy and I like listening and studying about self-development and also I like watching and studying motivational videos.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TRACK OF ALL TIME?
My favorite track of all times is swimming pools by Kendrick Lamar.
WHAT IS YOUR BEST-PRODUCING TIP?
My best producing tip is to always produce with you love not what everybody else is doing follow your heart and do the music that you love to do truly.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOU?
What’s next for me is I’m dropping a single entire universe featuring one of my friends Drey Skonie and we produce and cowrote this song together in Los Angeles California and it will be dropping June 18, 2021.
WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE THE YOUNG MUSICIANS?
My advice to young musicians is to always enjoy the journey always enjoy the process always seek to grow always seek to learn and cultivate your gift and your talent endlessly.
