Megan Thee Stallion, who has earned various awards this year that includes her platinum single certification for “Cash Shit,” featuring Da Baby, and her gold single for “Big Ole Freak” is all set to come on the television screens! According to reports, the 24-year-old rapping sensation is all set to join joining the suburban crime mavens on NBC’s Good Girls.
The star took to her Instagram to confirm the news on Wednesday. Megan shared a trailer on her Instagram and captioned the same: “NBC done let me come on and be on Good Girls. And y’all just need to tune in and get ready for me!”
Further she added, if you’re not up on Good Girls yet, I (and NBC) have a handy-dandy synopsis for you, telling about the star cast and other details of the show.
The three suburban moms when get tired of trying to make ends meet, they eventually decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by just robbing the local grocery store. But as the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot becomes far more than they expected, it doesn’t take long for the three best friends to understand that the perfect getaway will be harder than they think.
Produced by Jenna Bans (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, The Family) this comedy-infused drama is a great mix of a little Thelma & Louise with a bit of Breaking Bad.
The cast of the show includes Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Another Period), Mae Whitman (Parenthood, Arrested Development), Retta (Parks and Recreation, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce), Reno Wilson (Mike & Molly), Lidya Jewett (Hidden Figures), Isaiah Stannard (Brad’s Status), Manny Montana (Graceland), and Matthew Lillard (Twin Peaks, Bosch).
Undoubtedly, 2019 was Megan’s big year, and it seems that the next years is also going to be great for the star as she’s clearly already ushering in a hot girl 2020.
