HI, WELCOME TO ABOUT INSIDER! THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CHAT WITH US! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF. WHO IS JAMY G IN YOUR OWN WORDS?
Of course! I think Jamy G will always be a dreamer that is adventurous and open-minded. Also pretty resourceful and witty as hell [laughs].
HOW AND WHEN DID YOU BEGIN YOUR MODELING CAREER?
Well, the myspace era gave us the ability create our own identity, so with that I saw the shift in the social media culture and took advantage immediately by building this image of a (back then) double-D blonde model. And from there it took off.
HOW DID THE OPPORTUNITY WITH PLAYBOY COME ABOUT?
One of the creative directors really enjoyed my content and presented me with the opportunity. I had always been a fan of the Playboy image and what it stood for, so I was more than happy to create an iconic cover!
SHARE WITH US YOUR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH PLAYBOY’S NEW ZEALAND AND BEING NAMED PLAYMATE OF THE YEAR.
Honestly, the experience was so surreal and immensely glamorous. Everything was super curated and customized to my story down to the smallest detail. I’m truly honored and grateful for the creative director, who is now my friend (Aria Garcia), for considering and supporting me every step of the way.
WHAT IDEOLOGIES CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR SUCCESS AND POPULARITY?
I think people see that most of my ideology is fantastic for motivating and bringing people together. I love getting messages from strangers telling me that I inspire them to not only do better and eat better but to all around becoming a better person in life.
WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO AS YOUR ROLE MODEL?
I have several role models but I think the ultimate role model for me is my mother. She was my first teacher and advisor. She installed morals and hardcore values that molded me into who I am today.
DO YOU FEEL A LOT OF PRESSURE TO BE A SUCCESSFUL MODEL AND INFLUENCER, OR DID IT JUST HAPPEN TO YOU?
I would never put that kind of pressure on myself and no one should. I believe if you are an interesting enough person that people are inspired by, you should be able to just be yourself and the people will come and follow organically. Success is not measured by how many likes and followers you have. It’s about how you change the world and motivate people for the better.
WHAT’S SOMETHING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE US?

ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS/ROLES YOU CAN TALK ABOUT?
I have a bunch of fun photoshoots lined up and speaking to some producers about a possible show. Who knows?
