Loch Lomond Appointed Golf champion Rich Beem as Brand Ambassador

Loch Lomond Whiskies has associated with the former golf champion, influential commentator and analyst for Sky Sports, Rich Beem. Beem, who beat Tiger Woods by one shot to win the 2002 US PGA Championship, will be promoting the brand’s single malts.

Beem has joined other big names, like Clarke, Cristie Kerr, Colin Montgomerie, and Iona Stephen as a golf ambassador for the brand. He will host a live Q&A with the fellow major winner Darren Clarke, titled ‘At Home with Darren Clarke’. Besides, he will also create a new cocktail named the Beemer using Loch Lomond 12 Year Old.

Speaking about the partnership, Beem said, “Joining Loch Lomond Whiskies is a great honor for me. I’m very excited to work with the experts to create my very own cocktail recipe.”

Further, he added, “It’s a great shame that The 149th Open has been cancelled for 2020, but I’m pleased to be working with Loch Lomond Whiskies to bring some entertainment to golf fans during this tough time. Hopefully, it won’t be long before we can all enjoy a wee dram together.”

While CEO Loch Lomond Group, Colin Matthews, said, “We’re very happy and excited to welcome Rich to Loch Lomond Whiskies. Not only is he an outstanding golfer, but his work for Sky Sports over the past five years has been fantastic. We can’t wait to start working together.”
