Ladi Rosa is on a mission to use every song to empower young women

Ladi Rosa first made her mark on the Latin & pop worlds with her first single, “I Ain’t No Taylor Swift” debuting on Billboard as #1 Breakout, at #49 chart debut and topping at #21, charted for a record 19 weeks.  Latin pop artist  has a new single, “Personal Space,” out on May 21st.

HI LADI! PLEASE, BRIEFLY INTRODUCE YOURSELF, WHO IS LADI ROSA IN YOUR OWN WORDS?
Ladi Rosa is a young artist who sings about topics that most artists don’t cover as much.  She supports body confidence and self love.

TELL US ABOUT HOW YOU STARTED MAKING MUSIC?
I first started making music and really learning about the process is when I began attended Vocalstar in California.

WHO WAS YOUR EARLIEST MUSICAL INFLUENCE, AND WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THEM?
My earliest influence was Drake, he has shown me that I didn’t have to stay in one genera of music and that I could do multiple throughout different songs.
         
WHO IS AN ARTIST YOU WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH?
An artist I would love to work with would be Giveon, I feel like our voices would sound amazing together on a track.

WHAT TRACK HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO RECENTLY?
Recently I’ve been listening to ‘Dive’ the cover by Luke Combs. it’s one of my favorites as of right now.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR NEW SONG, “PERSONAL SPACE”?
Personal Space is really a song that a lot of people could relate to; the songs about not always needing your own space and, that you would love your partner to be with you at all times.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PERFORMANCE SO FAR?
My favorite performance would be for the GirlsLife magazine, it hasn’t been broadcasted yet but I am really excited for my performance!

HAVE ANY TIPS OR ADVICE FOR SINGERS OR SONGWRITERS JUST GETTING STARTED? 
One tip I have for beginners would be to write what you want to write not what someone else wants you to write. Also, make your career the way you want it to be such as your look, genera of music and lyrics of tracks.
