Kacey Fifield is an award-winning 16-year-old singer/ songwriter from Los Angeles who has been releasing original music since she was 10! Her latest releases include “Bring Me Down”, “Confidential”, and for Tipsy Records, “Camouflage”, “Confused”, and “Last Breath”, a duet with “American Idol” finalist and frequent collaborator Robbie Rosen. “Bring Me Down” was remixed by the chart-topping Stonebridge, and “Confidential” was remixed by Ricardo Padua. Two of her Tipsy Records releases have also recently received remixes. “Last Breath” was reimagined by Lonely Kid and Toniia, while “Confused” saw reworks by Ricardo as well as Bassanova and Aless Vanco.
Kacey participates regularly in humanitarian issues. This past spring, Kacey Fifield took part in Students of the Year, a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, hoping to make a difference in finding a cure for cancer. She is a part of the Youth Leadership Council for Farm Sanctuary and leads a Children’s Hospital Aid Club affiliated with St Jude’s Hospital. She plays piano and guitar, but ultimately singing is her greatest passion.

Thank you! “Ghost” is a heartfelt pop ballad inspired by the feeling that ensues following a broken bond/lost relationship, with memories seeming to “haunt” you at every corner. It’s a very metaphorical song, inspired by the idea of “being ghosted.” This song digs deeper into the heartache and melancholy emotions that occur when you’re reminded of memories that you had with a person who isn’t there for you anymore.
DID ANY EVENT IN PARTICULAR INSPIRE YOU TO WRITE THIS SONG?
This song was based ore on an accumulation of experiences rather than a specific event. I’ve had my fair share of lost friendships, and it can definitely be hard to look back on memories with that person without feeling melancholy and nostalgic.
HOW HAS BEEN YOUR EXPERIENCE COLLABORATING WITH LITTLE RAIN?
It’s been incredible! I love Little Rain’s music so it was great that we got the chance to work together to create a song that we both love.
ANY PLANS TO RELEASE A VIDEO FOR THE “GHOST”?
We’re currently working on ideas for a video, but no promises! I’d love to do a video, but it may be a bit difficult due to COVID-19 impacts still lingering.
WHO ELSE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO COLLABORATE WITH NEXT?
I’m a huge fan of Conan Gray, so a collaboration with him would be a dream!
