I’m a professional composer, performer, and writer! I am mildly obsessed with Disney and Broadway.
HOW AND WHEN EXACTLY DID YOU REALIZE YOU HAD A PASSION FOR SINGING?
I’ve always had a passion for writing music and playing piano, and through piano lessons, I actually discovered I had an interest in singing. My first piano teacher told me I was matching pitch and encouraged me to start singing.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING SINGLE, “TOP OF THE WORLD.”
“Top of the World” is an anthem for those of us who have ever been bullied. You can listen to it on all major music streaming platforms!
HOW HAVE YOU GOT THE INSPIRATION FOR “TOP OF THE WORLD?”
The inspiration for the song came from looking at how a lot of people feel the need to put others down on social media and thinking nobody ever reads their comments, or how they may think they are at the top of the world looking down on others without actually thinking about the implications of their words or actions.
YOU PLAY APPROXIMATELY 15 MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, AND YOU’RE ALSO A SUPERB SINGER; WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO BE A GREAT PERFORMER?
I wake up every day with the drive to write and grow as a musician and composer, and I really enjoy entertaining people.
WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT DIFFERENTIATES YOU FROM OTHER MUSICIANS?
What makes me different is that I wrote my first full-length musical that was performed off-broadway when I was 12 years old.
WHAT’S SOMETHING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE US?
I am currently in college at NYU and started my freshman year when I was 15.
ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS/ROLES YOU CAN TALK ABOUT?
I’m planning on releasing a bunch of new songs and possibly a new musical that’s in the works!
