Jaymarr – A Great hip hop singer
Rhythm and blues, or R&B, is a music genre created by African-Americans in the 1940s and has been continuously polished until the current day. R&B evolved alongside rock ‘n’ roll, drawing inspiration from gospel, jazz, folk, and traditional blues music.
Later decades saw R&B deviate significantly from rock music. Keyboards, synthesizers, heavy bass lines, and looped drum beats are frequently used in contemporary R&B.
It has more affinity with hip hop than popular music in this regard. R&B is one of the most financially successful genres in modern music, with songs consistently reaching the top of the leaderboard.
Features of Jaymarr Music
Instrumentation based on keyboards, synthesizers, and drum machines: While guitars powered early R&B, most contemporary R&B is based on keyboards, synthesizers, and drum machines.
Some R&B singers prefer acoustic piano, such as Alicia Keys, but many others prefer electronic keyboards and software loops.
Hip hop integration
The barrier between hip hop and R&B has eroded in recent years. The “new jack swing” style of production, pioneered by Teddy Riley and Bernard Belle in the 1980s, started the trend. The first albums of Bryson Tiller and Drake, Trapsoul and Thank Me Later, feature equal parts singing and rapping.
R&B performers such as Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey established vocal virtuosity as an essential aspect of the genre, which has since been embraced by musicians such as Jazmine Sullivan, Alicia Keys, and Erykah Badu.
Jaymarr owns thoughts about his work
“I was born and reared in the city of Buffalo, New York. Hutch Tech High School was my alma mater. I joined the Marine Reserves and returned to Buffalo after being discharged. I am now a junior at Villa Maria College, specializing in Vocals and studying the Music Industry. I’m studying how to read and write music, as well as key signatures and history. I wish to improve my field’s literacy.”
“I write and perform my music. My voice is well-liked. I’m experimenting with different sounds and picking up on a mood. Bryson Tiller, R&B, and Hip Hop are all influences on my music. In my music, you can notice an R&B influence. I write songs on circumstances and relationships that I have encountered in my life. I’m still working on myself and my art.”
“Music is a personal expression that I share with the world. I make certain that I am acting genuinely. I tend to continue it at 100 percent. Keep it at 1000 for everyone. I’m continuously trying to improve the sound. I believe in the philosophy of “reach one, teach one.” I pass on information that may be useful to someone else.”
“I envision myself as a successful recording artist with a large fan base, working even harder than I am today. I want to keep building. I believe I am capable of producing high-quality content. I consider myself as a member of a team and as someone who can influence others.”
