HELLO NATALIE NICHOLE, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JOINING US! YOU HAVE JUST RELEASED A NEW SINGLE HONEST WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE CREATION?
Natalie Nichole: Honest is based off my life and my current relationship status. I’m a very open & honest person so, it just seemed natural to write about my current situation. Music is my way of expression and is very therapeutic for me so the inspiration is my life.
YOU ARE STARTING TO CREATE A BUZZ ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM TIKTOK, HOW DID THAT PROCESS HAPPEN FOR YOU SO QUICKLY
Natalie Nichole: I developed a posting strategy that I stick with. It’s truly just being consistent and engaged with my fans as well. I love TikTok, I have something special I’m creating specifically for TikTok that drops November so I’m hype about that. TikTok has been very instrumental in my career. I’ll continue to use it and be active over there.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT OF YOUR CAREER?
Natalie Nichole: I’d say the biggest achievement so far even though I have many accolades I could mention is to be able to keep learning, gaining knowledge for my career and being able to make a living/have freedom and control over myself as an indie artist. OWNING MY MASTERS. OWNING ME.
WHAT WOULD YOUR ADVICE BE TO THOSE WANTING TO BECOME AN ARTIST IN 2020?
Natalie Nichole: You really have to be built for this game. It’s a sport. You have to mentally be prepared for everything that gets thrown at you and master overcoming boundaries as you go. You also have to realize waiting on someone to discover you aint the wave. YOU have to create your own wave, invest in yourself, gain knowledge and market YOU. If you don’t believe in yourself enough to bet on you no one else will. It’s a daily grind. If you want it handed to you this really isn’t the career choice that’s best for you.
