Interview With Hip-Hop Artist J Mouse
J Mouse is a talented hip-hop artist based in Detroit where he continues to supply his fans with his records. His most recent project was titled “Hate Me Or Love Me”, and was crowned on of the 2019’s most solid projects by listeners. He has an unstoppable drive, truly committed to whatever he sets his mind to.

His own person. Manifesting everything he’s chasing. I’m 1 of 1.
You just released a great song “Truly Committed”. What’s the story behind your and Yung Goony’s friendship?
We grew up together. Hooped together. Cooked on the court together. Now we cookin off the court together. It’s real chemistry. That’s my brotha.
Who do people say you sound like?
I got my own sound for real, to be honest I haven’t heard me being compared to anyone.
What’s your best advice for handling criticism?
I love it. It’s always ways to get better, no matter who you are. There’s always room for improvement.
What surprising lessons have you learned along the way?
Control what you can control and accept what you can’t. Easy to say, Hardest thing to live by.
What are you focusing your time on now (e.g., recording a new record, touring the Midwest, writing, etc.)?
I got some new stuff I’m putting out soon. Song called ‘LALA’ feat bills I’m dropping soon. Just working.
How do you currently feel about the state of Hip-hop in general?
I fw it. You got your lyrical rappers, mumble rappers, rappers that’s educating people through they word. I love it. Everybody is doin them.
Who influenced you most throughout your career?
Wayne. Listening to him made me love rap.!
If you could only listen to 3 albums for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Lil Durk – Just cause y’all waited too
Wayne – no ceilings (idc if it wasn’t an album)

Do you have a bucket list? If so what’s on it?
Do everything & regret nothing. Live. People fall so deep into worrying about other people judgement or what they might think that they never really let themselves do something’s they desire to do. So they never truly live. I just wanna live wit no regrets.
