Guinness World Record-holding singer & songwriter Capri Everitt received international acclaim and worldwide media attention when she travelled to 80 countries with her family where she sang the national anthem of each country in the national language to raise money and awareness for orphaned and abandoned children. During her journey “Around the World in 80 Anthems”, she was featured in more than 100 print and television segments.
CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF, WHO IS CAPRI EVERITT IN YOUR OWN WORDS?
I am a singer and songwriter who loves performing. It gives me great joy to be fortunate enough to connect with my fans all around the world all the time through various social media platforms. I aspire to be one of the most notable performers of the next generation.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY?
I started singing and playing piano when I was 5 years old and got my first gig singing at a local theatre. I loved the feeling I got from performing and have been doing it ever since.
YOU ARE GUINNESS WORLD RECORD-HOLDING SINGER AND YOU ALWAYS TREND ON INSTAGRAM, HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE SO POPULAR?
Every day I find myself working for hours getting content to post that I honestly don’t really notice lol. My social media platforms are something I have been working on tirelessly for several years now and with the current quarantine, I find myself doing even more work for it.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO USE MUSIC TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD?
As I said before I have always had a passion for music and realized that was what I wanted to use in order to raise money for charity. I realized that not all teens/kids around the world have a strong foundation like a supportive family and it made me sad to think of kids having to give up their passions in order to work or take care of their siblings.
WHAT IS THAT ONE THING THAT YOU ALWAYS KEEP IN YOUR MIND WHILE PREPARING YOUR CONTENT FOR SOCIAL MEDIA?
I try to always only put out my best on my social media platforms as whenever I post something, I see it being reposted many times as my amazing fans and fan-pages “edit” my content for their accounts and make it look really cool!
WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE GOALS?
My main goal at the moment is to have songs appear on billboard charts. I would also love to go on tour one day as it has been a dream on mine since I was younger.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH OUR READERS?
I know that the one thing that will help me get where I want to go is to keep developing relationships with my amazing fans from around the world. So, honestly, I would just love to have more people listening to my music and following me on on all my social media platforms :). My ultimate goal is to have my music playing all around the globe!
