PLEASE, BRIEFLY INTRODUCE YOURSELF, WHO IS DR. EYUP CELIK YOUR OWN WORDS?
My name is Celik which known as Dr Celik. I am an aesthetic dentist from Istanbul who loves to create new smiles and making people happy from all over the world.
WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A DENTIST?
My interest in art and my desire to create something from a young age is the biggest factor in choosing this profession. First I got a chance to enter the medical school. My family was very insistent to be a doctor but I was very insistent that it was an art profession. I got depressed when I got a chance at the Faculty of Medicine. Then I chose dentistry a profession that both my family and I can be happy with because I would have a profession where I could be a doctor and an artist on the same time. To be honest, I had no idea before I entered the dentistry department, but I could guess it was a department I would enjoy. Currently working as a doctor in love with my profession, which is a combination of science and art.
WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER DENTISTS IN THE AREA?
One of the things that makes me different from other doctors is that I am passionate about the profession. And l like to be different and creative than others. My philosophy on my work is ‘ Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, design it.’
WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR SPECIALITY PROCEDURE?
My speciality procedure is minimal invasive dentistry. Minimally Invasive Dentistry is the application of “a systematic respect for the original tissue.” This implies that the dental professional recognizes that an artifact is of less biological value than the original healthy tissue. Minimally invasive dentistry is a concept that can embrace all aspects of the profession.
WHICH AREAS OF DENTISTRY DO YOU LOVE THE MOST?
Mostly l like to work on Esthetic field of dentistry doesn’t matter which field. İt can be esthetic fillings, veneers , dental implants etc
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING A DENTIST?
I like to create new smiles and make people happy most in my profession. As a dentist, I am not only beautifying their smiles but also improve their psychology.
HOW MUCH DO YOU ENJOY HELPING PEOPLE LOOK AND FEEL THEIR BEST?
My favorite moment of my profession is to watch the happiness on my patients faces when l complete the smile design. Nothing can be better than this.
HOW IMPORTANT IS PERSONAL BRANDING FOR YOU, AND WHAT YOU DO TO GROW YOUR PERSONAL BRAND?
Your smile is your logo; your personality is your business card, how you leave others feeling after having an experience with you becomes your trademark. If you believe in this philosophy, you will grow your personal brand no matter what profession.
WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO A BUDDING DENTIST?
Our profession is a combination of science and art; you will be a scientist and artist at the same time. İf you want to be a good Scientist you should read a lot of articles and do researches to increase your knowledge. For being great Artist you should be creative and different. You should practise as much as you can to increase your skills to achieve excellent masterworks.
