HEY MICHAELA! THANKS FOR TAKING TIME TO CHAT WITH US! TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF, WHO IS MICHAELA HALLMARK AND WHY DOES SHE DO WHAT SHE DOES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
I am a girl in my 20’s from a small town who now lives on the coast with my husband. We pastor a church in South Alabama. I have always had a heart for the media and always been on camera ever since I was a little girl. I do what I do on social media because there are so many people who are lost and hurting so my job is to love, comfort, and minister to the broken.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE FAMOUS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
It honestly doesn’t feel any different than before. I do get noticed when we go out every now and then so that’s pretty cool, and I love meeting people who watch my videos. Other than that nothing really has changed. I am still who I have always been.
WHAT IS ONE THING THAT YOU ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND WHILE PREPARING YOUR CONTENT?
Before I upload a video on any of my platforms I always pray over that video and ask God to let it reach whoever needs to see it. I make videos to encourage and minister to people. It’s not about me, it’s all about the one who can heal our brokenness. I’m just the willing vessel He uses.
WHAT IS IT LIKE HAVING SO MANY FANS FROM AROUND THE WORLD?
I absolutely love meeting people who watch my videos. Even when they come into my live streams I love seeing where everyone is from and love the fact that my videos are reaching that many people. It’s awesome.
HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THE HATERS?
I definitely get my share of hate just like anyone else that has a following. But I try to just overlook the negative comments and push through all negativity.
TELL US ABOUT YOU ACTING CAREER, ARE YOU STILL PURSUING ACTING?
Yes, I am definitely still doing acting. At the moment I am kinda just focused on my social media stuff, but I will be jumping back into the acting industry soon.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE ON CAMERA?
I love spending time with my husband. We like going to the beach, or just staying home and watching movies. I’m just a normal person who likes to do normal things.
DOES BEING AN INFLUENCER TAKE A LOT OF YOUR TIME?
Yes, I spend a lot of hours out of my week making videos.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN PLATFORMS YOU USE AND WHERE CAN YOUR FANS FIND YOU MOST ACTIVE?
So I have Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok And I’m very active on all platforms @michaelahallmark1
HAVE YOU HAD MEET AND GREETS YET? IF NOT, DO YOU PLAN TO DO SOME IN THE FUTURE?
I have not had an official meet/greet. I have met fans out in public but haven’t done an actual meet and greet. That is something that is definitely in the future though.
WHAT IS THE NEXT FOR YOU AND WHAT WAYS WILL IT EFFECT YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE?
Well my husband and I are planning to start a family so that will definitely mean I will be more busy with taking care of babies, but it will not effect my social media presence it will actually give me more content to film and upload to my fans.
WHAT ADVICE/ENCOURAGEMENT CAN YOU GIVE ANYONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE IT BIG IN SOCIAL MEDIA?
Just be yourself and never change. Stay true to who you are and what you love to do.
