What’s up Tadence! How are you?
Doing well! Excited for this interview, thank you for asking.

With so many talented artists these days releasing a high volume of music, how important is it for you to stay true to your creative process & take your time with crafting these projects?
My creative process is one of the most important things in my career. When I first started music, I used to Force myself to make beats and songs, which ultimately made my songs decent but not to the best of my ability. How my creative process works is that I have to be inspired. I could be just on the way home and some lyrics or a melody comes to me randomly. At that point I rush home to put down exactly how I feel. Then I centralize that song to the main idea I have. When I do that, I Always get my best products.

For those who may be new to finding out about your music through this new EP what do you want them to take away from it?
I want them to hear my stories, I want them to feel my pain, I want them to feel my love. I want them to hear my stories and think it’s something they can relate to and know that they are not alone. I want my pain to become people’s therapy.

It’s no secret that you’ve been making music for a pretty long time now. Along your journey as an artist what have been some of the more challenging things you’ve had to deal with along the way?
I have been making music since I was 13 in the 8th grade. My biggest challenge was always myself and mental health. A Lot of the time I think to myself that I don’t sound like other artists, so that must mean I suck. Or I would get so depressed that I would think to myself maybe this is not for me. When at the end of the day I want to be unique I want people to hear something different. It wasn’t until recently until I got myself out of that mindset. Now of course I still get severely depressed but now how I cope is putting my feelings on paper then making a song or a beat. When I do that, it always turns into my best work.

There tends to be a lot of artistic direction and specific themes for projects that are released today, did you go into making the new Music with a particular story or meaning behind it?
Yes, actually my whole EP is actually about my struggles and how they have impacted me through my life. I talk about trauma, love, and hate exclusively in this project. Long story short is a way for me to come out putting everything on the table.

How important is it for you to take time in between your releases to find new inspirations from living life?
It is very important in my creative process. In most cases I always know what I want to put in my music. Stemming back to that love-hate and trauma theme. But inspiration for me comes in all ways. But with my music I plan to space every one of these themes in every individual project as it does not define me but is part of who I am.

Do you feel like you’ve grown as an artist with this new EP compared to previous music? If so, what is it that made you take things to a next level?
I Have grown tremendously in my music, I used to make music trying to copy other people’s style. But then I thought to myself. Instead of looking up a Russ type beat and thinking in that mindset to sound like my favorite artist. I would say you know what let’s make a Tadence type beat. Let’s sound like him. With that mindset it has taken my music to a whole new level.

As I’m sure you know there’s a wide range of artists who will have a heavy influence from the city or state that they’ve grown up in due to previous musicians laying down the foundation to the sound that represents the area. Would you say there’s been any Influence from the area you grew up in that you’ve used for your music?
If I’m honest I don’t really take inspiration from a city, I have moved around too much in my life to claim a city. My inspiration comes from my experiences and my personal life. Now as I do reside and from the Houston area now. I know those are some big shoes to fill. But I know that one day when people think about artist they will think about me, and how I will revolutionize music culture in the area.

In comparison to your new and old music what do you hope your fans will take from this new EP?
This is Simple I hope they hear my stories and are moved by life. I want them to know that you can struggle as long as your come up story is the greatest it can be.

With the EP being a shorter format Did you have any songs that didn’t make the EP If so, how many and which ones do you wish could’ve made it?
I most definitely did, there was one song called In my thoughts. That I originally wanted to release as the first track on the Ep. But creatively I decided it would fit better for an album I’m working on that comes out in 2022.

Did you collaborate with any producers exclusively for the new EP?
On this EP there are still some songs in the works, so I can’t say it’s official. But I can say There is a possibility of Mias a 15-year-old dope producer in my company TGB Productions that might have a song co-produced with myself or Ominence Beats also a producer in my company TGB Productions.

Can we expect any features on the EP?
There is a possibility of features on my EP but they will be exclusively from artist from my company TGB Productions.

Where can people connect with you & stream the new music once it’s released officially?
