Thanks for having me! As you know I’m an artist/songwriter making soft pop songs about life and its many different moments. I make music anyone around the world to enjoy, trying to approach my writing with a uplifting/positive lens.
WHO INSPIRED YOU TO BE A PART OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?
Growing up I was always inspired by the likes of Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber – they were my inspirations to begin writing my own records.
WHEN WAS THAT FIRST “OH SHIT” MOMENT WHEN YOU REALIZED THAT MUSIC WAS GOING TO PAY OFF FOR YOU?
I’d say this year, when many of my songs were being well received and fans were sending messages, gave me courage to believe this will pay off.
LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR BRAND NEW EP, “LOVE DRUNK” THAT WAS JUST RELEASED. WHAT’S THE STORY BEHIND THAT SONG?
Love Drunk is a special song that I began writing over the summer in Arizona – my team and I wanted to create a record which could describe the nuanced moments one feels when in the infatuation phase, with that idea in mind we wrote the entire song in a few hours back in LA.
AND WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO CALL YOUR EP LOVE DRUNK?
This project is a playlist of all my favorite songs inspired by the concept of being in a state of ‘love drunk’. This approaches the idea of love from a lot of different angles, from the early stages of being caught up over somebody, to the tough period after a breakup.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE AMASS 13.5 MILLION STREAMS ON SPOTIFY?
I’m proud of these numbers and grateful for my fans and my team, who’ve been with me from the very first song. We all collectively believe this is just the beginning and we have a long way to go.
