Exclusive 1-on-1 with Hot New Recording Artist Shawn Lemelle

We sat down with the Super Talented, Hot New Recording Artist Shawn Lemelle to get the inside scoop and ask him some HOT burning questions (Oww).

HEY SHAWN, THANKS FOR MAKING SOME TIME AND ALLOWING US TO COME CHAT FOR A MINUTE.
No problem man, I’m glad to be here, let’s get it.

SURE LET’S DIVE IN. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY SOME OF YOUR BIGGEST MUSIC INFLUENCES ARE?
You hit me with the generic music artist starter pack question (laughs). Nah I’m just messin’ around, I have a lot of music influences, but I’m a big Tupac guy man. I grew up listening to a lot of his music which personally helped me get through a lot of life situations.

NICE, PAC IS DEFINITELY LEGENDARY. IF YOU COULD COLLAB WITH 1 ARTIST IN TODAY’S WORLD, WHO WOULD IT BE?
Ahh man that’s a tough one, there’s so much great talent out there it’s hard to pick. Umm.. I think I’d have to say Drake though. The guy is a phenomenal artist with tons of versatility.

DRAKEEE?? DRAKEEE?? NO I’M KIDDING DRAKE IS AN ABSOLUTE BEAST. SO SHAWN IN YOUR NEW SONG “FADE AWAY LOVE” IS THERE ANY LEGITIMACY TO THE THINGS YOU TALK ABOUT ON THE TRACK?
Yeah man definitely. Inspired by a true story (laughs). I find that those usually make the best type of songs because people can feel it. Plus it’s a vibe.

OH THE SONG IS DEFINITELY A VIBE SHAWN, AND FOR A SAD/BREAKUP TYPE OF SONG, IT HAS A COOL CATCHY UPBEAT TEMPO. WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON NEXT?
Well currently I’m working on a new project. There’s no release date yet, but I’m excited to get it done and get it to my fans. Been puttin’ in a lot of overtime and effort into this one.
