Today a Greek-based DJ & electronic music producer releases his powerful remix on Beyonce’s beloved dance house track “PURE/HONEY”. An Uplifting bass house remix, it features explosive bass-driven synths, groovy percussions, catchy melodies and strong drums that would make any club sound system tremble.
The idea behind this remix is to make a club friendly version of Beyonce’s song for the DJs, clubs and of course electronic music lovers. “PURE/HONEY” is the only song on Beyonce’s new album “RENAISSANCE (2022)” with two parts to it, similar to several tracks off Beyonce’s 2013 “Self-Titled” album such as “Haunted” & “Partition”.
Louis X used mostly the first vocal part in his remix version and preserved the 1970 disco tune sound adding a more modern festival style of arrangement in this production. Louis X has a knack for extracting components and ideas from various genres and building upon them to create his own unique sounds.
Inspired by artists such as David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Meduza, Swedish House Mafia and Dom Dolla, he created a “Club Version” while preserving the original essence of the track. For Louis X the goal of making and releasing remixes of popular artists such as Beyoncé is bringing closer the more commercial artists to the underground music scene. He started this side project as he was in need for a “club version” of the track . “I couldn’t find any current version or remix that fit my DJ sets” Louis X added.
The original version is produced by Beyoncé, Nova Wav, Bloodpop, Mike Dean, The-Dream, Stuart White & Raphael Saadiq. Debuted at #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the chart week ending of August 13, 2022 and remixed By Louis X end of February 2023.

Louis X is a Greek – Albanian Electronic DJ, record producer and remixer from Mykonos, Greece. Graduated from Pointblank Music School London in 2015, Louis started his career as resident DJ in various clubs in Mykonos such as the legendary Space Mykonos, Cosma club and many more.
