Delhi government again sends file to LG on teachers’ training programme

As the vocal war is increasing between the LG and the Delhi Government, Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena has written a letter to the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, responding to the latter’s claim of LG’s alleged interference in the government work.

The LG argued in the letter that the statements made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in and out of the state assembly are ‘severely and substantively misleading, untrue and derogatory’.

“As to ‘who is LG’ and ‘where does he come from’, etc. can be answered, if you were to even cursorily refer to the Constitution of India, others do not deserve a reply, since they obviously cater to a very low level of discourse,” the LG responded to the Delhi Government in a four-page letter.

“I would have, indeed, loved to have you over and served you lunch as well. However, you chose not to come on the pretext of wanting to meet me with all your MLAs,” the LG added in his letter.

However, the Delhi government has again sent a proposal to the LG Saxena’s Office to send teachers of state-run schools for a training programme to Finland. The Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said this on Friday. Allegedly, the LG had rejected a similar proposal before.
