If I could change one thing about the music industry it Would be currency and genuine revenue given to artist based off streams.

What goals do you see yourself achieving in the next 5 to 10 years?
Within the next 5-10 years I see myself on XXL. Performing at BET awards, Birthday bash, The main events at the All-star weekend. I’ll have at least 3 songs on top billboard 100. I truly see myself doing great things by then. Movie in the making. No working on being copywritten and published.

What thing or person motivates you the most to wake up every morning and go hard at pursing your dream of becoming a musician?
The support I get from my little sister and mother. To see that they take a great interest in my passion and want me to win is the ultimate motivation. The continuous uplifting comments from fans of how I motivate. Or how one of my songs is the favorite songs just to watch my words move people and touch souls in general did it for me.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music that you would want to pursue once you’ve established the tools and resources needed from your music career?

My stage and performance presence and the way I can command the attention of a crowd. Those are words to me from a A&R so since then that’s what I’ve stuck to perfection.

What’s your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician?
My most favorite thing about being a musician would be performing. My least favorite thing is the amount of money it takes to actually make a mark and actually get out there to the world. Along the lines of the actual cost to get your song played on the radio and you paid per spin.

What’s your creative process usually like when you’re working on new music?
My creative process is normally in the wicked hours of the night when I’m really in a reminiscing state of mind. I sip a Lil wine from time to time and it puts me what I call out my body and in my mind. More so a deeper outlook on life mindset. Not just the typical what I see in the mirror as far as the earrings or the haircut style but how and why I “played dumb but no fool” or what aspects in life really gave me a “thug mentality”. I love looking in the mirror before writing a song or while writing it or in the session.

What has been the most fulfilling moment of your career so far that people may not know?
I would say the most fulfilling moment of my career would have to be I had literally spent my last on to perform at one of sellthepromoters events and last minute when they announced the winner at almost 5 in the morning, I was the cash prize winner. true testimony to my faith in my music and I took it and ran with it.

Would you agree that it is important to learn, study, and understand the history of musicians who have done it before you as you navigate the industry as a newer artist?
I wouldn’t say it’s as important to study the artist than it is to study the business side and percentages and split sheets and copyrights things of that nature is more important than studying the greats.

What music advice would you give your younger self?
Stop putting music out to the world for 10 people to hear and not making any money off your own music. Sit back set a plan and stick to it.
