My name is Daniel Gottfried I was born in Cleveland Ohio raised in Jerusalem Israel and currently reside in Miami Florida. I am an actor Singer-songwriter, entrepreneur & owner of multiple businesses.
I’ve started acting professionally in tv/film two years ago but have done tons of professional plays since I was 7 years old. I have performed in Aladdin, Alice & Wonderland & Peter Pan in Theater as the lead in all three throughout high school! I’ve studied Acting at UCF as well as ClassAct Studios in Orlando! Then I studied at The Green Room Acting Studio in Boca Raton. I’ve been blessed to learn & study with amazing Amazing Cast Directors such as Amber Horn, Ellen Jacoby, Lori Wyman, Catherine Stroud, Lisa London, Mark Tillman, Mark Fincannon, Barry Shapiro & many more! of my film/tv projects I have been working on are MobKing The Movie, Ultimate Invasion airing on February 22nd 2022 on Amazon Prime Globally, Sequence of events, Trigonometry, & plenty of commercials. I do acting because I have a real passion for it & absolutely love everything about it. I’m in the process of getting a manager to help further my acting career which I believe is important with my busy filming schedule & businesses! I am on different creative professional platforms that allow me to build my portfolio & name in the acting, casting, & film professional community such as IMDB Pro, Casting Networks, Actors Access, Mandy, & Back Stage. I have my first single being released in the middle of next year with a music video followed. I decided to get into making music after my father died & although it’s my first single that I’m going to release I know it will have a major impact on everyone around the globe that has lost a loved one. The connection is real and it empowers more love, promoting ways to stop bullying & hate, while allowing everyone to connect losing someone you love. I chose to do this to try and uplift the world especially after everything we have been dealing with Covid. Furthermore I own a wholesale jewelry business called CelebrityDiamonds305. I started my jewelry business to save people thousands of dollars on wholesale instead of retail allowing me to create a household name in the industry! The concept behind the name Celebrity Diamonds 305 is simple & to the point for me. One day I just woke up & it clicked Celebrity Diamonds 305. 305 is a big area code in Miami and if celebrities see the name they’ll know. Many celebrities have already copped a new piece from Celebrity Diamonds 305. I made a lot of custom pieces for different NBA players, Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem, Tre Mann and so many more! I am also in the works on building my production company & studio in Orlando Florida focusing on movies, tv, & commercials with a major implementation of creating change for more people and casting more roles for people with diverse backgrounds.
I will definitely let my fans know through my social media channels once I’ve started it & once more projects that I am in are released! I’m going to create a poll to allow my fans to pick my production company & studio name!
Another thing I love doing is always finding time to give back to the people in my community. As a Philanthropist helping people and giving back to the community like reading books to kids at different schools in the community is something I love doing. I also Have a passion for helping the youth so I found myself coaching an AAU basketball team. “I used to be an AAU basketball coach for TNBA South”This is one of his greatest accomplishments in life. “I love giving back to the community and giving to charities like autism awareness, enlight Unite foundation and kids cancer.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO BEGIN A CAREER AS AN ACTOR?
Playing someone else really attracted me into acting. I always had a huge imagination since I was a kid & thought things through differently than a lot of people. The biggest thing for me was when my best friend Ibrahim Famouke Doumbia from Mali kept telling me I’m hysterical and a great liar & after he saw some projects I was working on I then knew that I need to do this full time! I haven’t looked back ever since!
WITH ALL THE ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITIES TO CHOOSE FROM, WHY PRODUCING?
I love producing because I am able to make my own content. I can then sell it & watch it be distributed to big channels & distribution companies. More importantly it allows me to create unique storylines & more inclusive stories that were never told before & I love that! Owning two production companies gives me the freedom to do that & I wouldn’t change it one bit! I want to help make the world a better place & it starts with my productions by creating a more diverse inclusive field of play for all actors no matter the ethnicity, religion, race, gender, nationality, or color of your skin.
TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT THE MOBKING 2.0
In the MobKing 2.0 The Movie I am an associate producer. I play The Don’s Nephew which is James Russo’s Nephew in the film. He is a very well known character actor & I had the pleasure working with him. The movie is jam packed with action suspense drama and lots of great story lines so you will have to watch it when it comes out but it’s an unbelievable Mafia movie that I’m so happy to have been apart of it! Ciro Dapagio who created Mobking is a father to me & is the Lead!
WHO’VE BEEN YOUR INFLUENCES WITHIN THE INDUSTRY?
Some people who influenced me in acting are Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Adam Sandler, Robert Downey Jr, & Gal Gadot! The moment that I realized I wanted to do acting full time was after I watched Wonder Woman because Gal Gadot showed that with hard work, perseverance, patience , determination, drive guts & a no quit attitude that anything is possible especially from such a small country like Israel where I’m from. First person I told was my mom because I wouldn’t be where I am today without her! She sacrificed the world for me to get to where I am today & I’m extremely humbled & grateful for that sacrifice! Since that moment my life has been nothing but a blessing & I have never been happier! I wouldn’t change it for anything else! I’ve been blessed & fortunate to have some bookings since I started this acting journey & I’m forever grateful & humbled to be where I am today knowing I have a bright future ahead of me in this industry.
WHAT’S THE KEY LESSON YOU WOULD WANT PEOPLE TO TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR WORK?
The Key thing I want people to take from my work is that I have some qualities that make me different & unique from everybody else such as that I’m thoughtful, kind caring funny adventurous. I served in the Israeli military & I’m a Jack of all trades that gets everything done! My product & projects I’m involved in speak for themselves & I’m proud to be an actor, singer, producer, entrepreneur & many more amazing things but most importantly I’m proud to be Autistic! Diversity matters people! Create Change! Do not let the Change Create you!
ANYTHING IN WORKS THAT YOU CAN TALK ABOUT? ANY EXCITING NEW PROJECTS?
Exciting new projects that have are a commercial that will be released on super bowl 2022 for Crest! I’m currently working on a pilot series episode that I am producing with the first pilot episode to be filmed by January of 2023. We are currently still in the development phase on the project & writing the script as we speak! My song Father you are my Lifeline will be out in the middle of the next year 2022 by Father’s Day along with a music video to follow announced at a later date! My TV show ultimate invasion will be out on Amazon prime February 22 2022. I play Emperor Max & FBI Agent Johnson. It’s a real treat to play good & bad but I can’t wait for you all to see it!
